Humankind (kind, ha!) where did we go so wrong?

Yes, where did we? And, can we metamorphose into a kinder society? Will EGO allow? My hope is that we can. One warped ego at a time, possibly? Appreciate you for reading and for the question. Blessings, ~Wendy💜

Wendy, I learned so very much and will learn more as I view/read the wonderful resources you included. I too, have no Native People's DNA, and have always (since being a young child) felt the great need to right the wrong of the stealing of their land, the genocide of their people and to honor the treaties (paltry though they are). Gold...all greed and want, not "need." Your poem brought me there, feeling the pain of a people simply living their lives, not living to see another day or night. When will it end?

A big HUG to you, Mary, for your heart and comment! Thank you. Yes, your question is one we should all be asking, even though we don't know or have the answer. I pray that by asking, we can be so moved to 'do' all that we can to find the answer, and press for change. We can't undo what has been done, no lives brought back, but we can do SO much better going forward by not allowing further atrocities lead and perpetrated by the greedy and heartlessly power-driven in this country and world. May whatever we do ~ripple~ out and make a difference.

Many blessings and MUCH LOVE,

~Wendy💜

Powerful poem Wendy, I weep with you and the First People. It is beyond me what is happening now. Greed destroys so many things. The gold is not worth harming the environment. Not enough words to convey all my thoughts, those bare poles symbolize all that has been taken 💔❤️‍🩹 Thank you for sharing and bringing awareness to past wounds, don’t understand why they are being riped open again.

Thank you, Marjorie. Everything you said, YES! I had planned these posts this month, prior to this month and as this one was coming up, had read about the current issues taking place with the Nez Perce Reservation and was just sickened. It felt so universe-led that this poem was a part of my "Places"; we all need to have our eyes, ears, and hearts open to past plights and those that are coming. With another highly concerning issue, I did not go back and add my thoughts about it to this post (those thoughts will be coming), but this new administration's call to deem the Native American people as "non-citizens" has been more than disturbing! I pray for awareness as to just WHAT that means and the implications for such actions. My stomach has just been sick for days and I know that I'm physically manifesting the sickness my heart feels. Thank you so much for reading and for your heartfelt comment. I know you are as in tune with, and as compassionate about humanity as I am. May we all make a difference, however we can, to better this country.

Many blessings and MUCH LOVE to you, ALWAYS! ~Wendy💜🤗🙏💔🩹🌎

Same, been taking Bismuth pink tablets. How can the First People be considered non-citizens by this administration 🤯😡🤬. The list of wrongs continues to grow 💔

I did see the perfect sign in response to the Oklahoma Board of Education

Here it is-

NO ONE IS ILLEGAL ON STOLEN LAND

Keep shining your light Wendy, we all need it

Bismuth is a good one! I hadn’t thought of taking it! I have been rubbing DigestZen oils on my tummy and using peace and serenity oils. Will be adding those pink tablets and see if that makes things better! Thanks!🤗

Yes, the idea of making those who were here FIRST be ‘labeled’ non-citizen is VILE! I am feeling the fury for such wicked, immoral behavior. 😒😡😠😡

Well, I’ll say!!! The perfect sign INDEED! Cheers to the responders!!!

Thanks for all of this, Marjorie!

Love and biggest (((HUGS)))🤗✨🥰✨
