I am so glad I took a moment to read this, Wendy! Such a precious piece. I have started the New Year with new things bubbling up in my life, and I am balancing how to give due space to all this beauty. It feels so good to find you, my friend, in these words.

Hello Rose! It is great having you come by for a visit! I hear you…the new year has been more a buzz than usual for myself as well. Getting the time to get on Substack and read all the wonderful postings has been a challenge. Yesterday, I took a Word Spa Day, just so I could catch up a bit. Turns out, I probably need a week of spa days! I do hope all is going well for you and your family. Will be dropping by to see you in your words before I log off here today. Sending hugs and love your way, my friend! Blessings, ~Wendy💜

Ooof....tenterhooks! Got me doing the ugly cry here! Having you feel all of this, hit me in all of the feels. Such an honor to have this response. Whowza, coming from you it means the world! We ARE all here to 'teach' and help each other be the best versions of ourselves that we can be, in a classroom or otherwise. May we all continue to TEACH each other as we move through this chaotic, yet divine life. Biggest (((HUGS))) to you and deepest gratitude for your love, lessons, and support.

Many blessings and MUCH LOVE,

~Wendy💜

Your students were blessed and lucky to have you as their teacher!!! Education is so important and more than the basic subjects. I know you filled your classroom with care, compassion, and knowledge or all + a listening heart for your students. Your ripples spread far ✨((((((((((💜))))))))))✨

Marjorie,

Thank you so much for such sweet accolades. I had such wonderful teachers to model after and their influence made me want to be more than one who relayed subject information. I always wanted my students to know how much they mattered, how much faith I had in them, and that they were more than just behinds filling seats. To see and know what they have achieved does make me hope that I have influenced them the same. And, yes! ~Ripples~

SO deeply appreciate your response to this piece, Maureen! It means so much to me, but even more to all those parents out there who are feeling the collapse of their child's right to exceptional schooling. Parents so desire that their precious kids are not only educated, but are cared for and loved. The vast majority of teachers are wanting the very same, the best of care for their students and even better education to understand and navigate this life. You hit it on the head! The present position of the US government ONLY wants this for the select few, and have NO concern for "excellent" schools or teaching to be accessible for EVERYONE. What they don't want to acknowledge is that EVERY child is WORTHY and DESERVING!

Lord, I pray we can change that: FLIP THE SCRIPT!

Many blessings and MUCH LOVE,

~Wendy💜
