Wendy, I have two tailed friends, Tiger and Laila, German Shepherds that have turned 12 this year. From extremely strong, fierce yet innocuous, dangerous for strangers yet extremely innocent for us, from barking to be playful all the time, from fearless yet mischievous; they have turned old and fragile. They stay with my younger brother as he brought them as pups, but whenever I visited them, we had a ball of time. I stay involved with them wholly and miss them fondly. I fear of losing them, but it is inevitable and this time when I met them, I expressed my heartfelt gratitude to them mentioning that they made me learn what pure affection and silent care are all about. It seemed they understood every word and the way we cuddled each other was beyond imagination.

I can very well understand your deep bond with Whiskey who stayed by your side for eleven glorious years. Her physical absence is truly an irreparable loss, but her fondest memories are priceless and make you feel her presence all around.

These incredible beings make us better humans in every respect. Thank you, Wendy.

Vineet,

You have me so moved with this sharing of your 'tailed friends'! Thank you for such a superb description of them and your love and bond. Honestly, it brought wells of tears, as I know how special they must be to you, as I know how special my companions, especially Whiskey, have been to me. How we wish they had lifespans as long as we do. Big hugs to you! Tiger and Laila most definitely understood and communicated all of your affection and love right back to you. That moment for you all is so incredibly precious! The biggest hugs to you and loving pets to your Tiger and Laila.

Yes, they do make us better humans.

Many blessings and MUCH LOVE,

~WendyπŸ’œ

It is such a wonderful remembrance of a great dog, Wendy. I'm sorry for your loss. I know we never forget our pets. My childhood dog died in 1988, and I still think about her.

Rod,

Thank you. They do leave their paw prints on our hearts, don't they? Hugs for your loss and may your memories of her bring warmth to you in the present.

Thank you, Maureen. We were certainly lucky to have had each other. Amazing how deeply bonded we can be with our critters. I do hope I'll have animals around me to the end of my days, they bring so much joy to living. How about you? Any particular pets that have a special spot in your life story? Would love to hear about them!

Blessings,

~WendyπŸ’œ

I love this, Maureen!

We have, and have had, cats as well, and every one came to us by chance. They all found their place amongst our critters and get along well most of the time; typical sibling disagreements happen, thankfully nothing that would produce injury, other than to egos.

Milly has found the best pet parents! Caring for an animal with such need for constant medical care takes incredible love and commitment; not everyone has that. What a blessing she has found YOU!

We had a dog with diabetes and know that great desire to provide care and dedication to giving them the best life possible. Big HUGS to you and special prayers for Milly to thoroughly enjoy her BEST life.

Mr. Henry sounds like he has a soft side and how sweet that he has accepted your Milly and Alice into 'his' domain! Funny how cats do know when other kitties need that TLC.

Thank you for sharing about your babies, I just love connecting with people who have fur-kids, too!

Blessings and MUCH LOVE,

~WendyπŸ’œ
