Hello all and sundry,
Come on in! Let’s share a cup of tea, shall we, and cozy in to share some of the blessed discoveries I’ve had over the last few months. November is ready to run right on outa here and I am full IN on feeling the thankful for mood, so wanted to get this post out to y’all, now, because we need the blessing, and before our thankful focus moves on to December’s giving heart.
I am taking a Thanksgiving break, of sorts, by not highlighting any particular writer through my commentary, but by turning you on, I hope, to a marvelous group of writers with a list of my found treasures. What I have been wanting to do for quite awhile now is to share some of the incredible POETS who have lit up my heart here on Substack and have filled my soul with gratitude: for their craft, for their hearts, for their waltzes with words and for the connections they make with their readers.
Each wonderful wordsmith has moved me in smiles and tears, has put vision to things in ways that give new sight to my soul, and has given reveal of themselves as truly beautiful, genuine human beings. Some have bared themselves with boldness, others with tender vulnerability. They open up space for laughter, anger, frustration, magic, and joy: flooding the field of emotions, their words have washed over me.
Have a visit to their newsletters and give them a read! In your garden of loved poets, I hope I’ll plant a seed. Shoot, I hope you’ll be so blessed that a whole row is soon sprouting! Happy Harvesting!
Many blessings and MUCH LOVE,
~Wendy💜
As a poet thank you so much for this list. Finding others that post poetry is a bit of a challenge here.
This is such a great idea! And what a nice way to build community.
