Every time I walk past a ripe, full-of-flavor peach in the grocery store, or gaze at yellow-red orbs hanging from a branch, I am whisked back in memory to grandma’s kitchen, to Grandma, and to a bowl of fresh, sliced peaches covered in heavy cream, sprinkled sweet with a teaspoon of sugar.
