Extra-EXTRA! ~Ripples~
You have made a splash and those ripples of love have met my shore
Hello all and sundry,
This little bit of Extra-EXTRA is just me wanting to tell you that I appreciate you beyond measure. Every time I come to this space to write and share and post, my heart fills and lifts in thinking of you; that you will be stopping by to read, comment, or share a part of you that has been touched by words carrying a part of me.
It’s not solely my writing, but it is wholly the connection we make. With each post here, you’ve joined me and that means everything. What I write becomes more because you read it, you interacted with it, you’ve left words to share about how it resonated with your own experience or how it hasn’t been your experience at all, yet you appreciated the ride-along. Whether what I write has been familiar or foreign, you have found something within it, and for some of you, like finding a special skipping rock, you’ve either tucked it away or you’ve shared it with others as you gave it a toss across this platform’s pond. Either way, your doing so has made a splash and those ripples of love have met my shore. It truly is a manifestation of magic! My writing life, my LIFE is better because of it. So, from the deepest parts, the most endearing parts of my heart, I thank you.

PS~ Just a little reminder:
For February (envision me chest deep in receipts and paperwork, where one does find themselves as a result of procrastinating for tax time. I mean—I file all receipts—in a box, until I dump it out and stare itemization in the face every February and wonder, “Whhyyyy, do I keep doing this?!), I will only have the Monday and Friday poetry posts. March through May my job hours spike; so I will be doing something similar, doing my best to mesh and iron out my work and writing schedule. The idea is to post poems only on Fridays, the free prose piece on the 8th, one prose piece on the 18th for my paid subscribers. I do hope you’ll understand for my need to ease up during this time; I definitely do not want to burnout on anything I am doing, especially the writing.
I promise you will get a few surprises now and again, some Extra-EXTRAS! and I will be dropping in with NOTES and with comment responses, as well as comments left on the great reads I LOVE! I will be definitely trying to give time to still read my FAVS!
That is the proposed plan. I do wish my ability to produce posts in the same way I’ve done these last 7 months was the same all year round, but currently, reality requires my spring seasonal job; still have the need to have those paychecks coming in. Don’t we all know how that is!

✨💜✨ Completely relate to shoe box receipts, I tend to be last minute with the paperwork of life and taxes. Writing and reading poetry is soothing and fun. Great read to start my day Wendy!
